Mets’ Ace Gone For Season

As if the New York Mets’ season hasn’t been disappointing enough, the team learned that ace pitcher Johan Santana will miss the rest of the season with bone chips in his left elbow.

Santana is expected to be ready once spring training rolls around in 2010.

The Mets play a road game against the Florida Marlins tonight listed as +185 underdogs.
