Cubs’ Big Z Hamstrung

Righty Carlos Zambrano was placed on a 15-day DL by the Chicago Cubs with a Grade 2 strain of his left hamstring says the Chicago Sun-Times in fact, he could require 2½ weeks to recover.

If all goes according to plan, Zambrano could return in time for a three-game set against the St. Louis Cardinals which begins on May 19.
