Prairie View rallies in ninth to beat TSU

Prairie View A&M got three runs in the top of the ninth inning to post an 11-10, come-from-behind win over Texas Southern at MacGregor Park on Sunday.

Oscar Reed’s RBI double tied the score at 10, and George McDonald’s RBI single put the Panthers ahead before Ben Blackburn pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to seal the victory.

Prairie View improved to 21-23, including 9-14 in SWAC play, to keep its postseason hopes alive. TSU fell to 20-25 (10-14) but claimed the three-game series.
