Red Alert: BoSox’s Lowell On DL

The Boston Red Sox have placed third baseman Mike Lowell on the 15-day disabled list.

Lowell is suffering from a strained right hip and had fluid drained from the hip yesterday according to the AP.

Boston plays Baltimore this afternoon listed at -152.
